Official Rules of Androidopoly

Participation:
All players are required to login at least once within every 30 days. If you do not log into Androidopoly within every 30 days, your account will be automatically disabled, your properties will be forfeited back to the bank, and your credits will be set back to $100,000.00. This ensures that properties do not get purchased and become unavailable for ever. If a user owns a property that you want to bid on never logs in, your bid will never be seen and never be accepted or rejected. However, if you have an outstanding bid on a property and the owner's account becomes disabled, you will be awarded the property at this point if you are the highest bidder awaiting decision.

Beginning:
When first joining the game, you begin with $100,000.00. You do not pay rent in your home town or place of work. Bigger cities cost more than smaller cities. Your properties must attract visitors in order to earn rent money to build your credits. After earning enough credits, you will have the opportunity for buying larger cities that attract more visitors which brings more rent money.

Pricing:
Property values reflect the Census Bureau's city population reports from 2006. Each person in a city symbolizes $1.00.

Rent:
Rent is 10% of the property value.

Mortgages:
When mortgaging a property, the bank will loan you 50% of the property value. However, you will not receive any rent until the property has been taken out of mortgage status.

Selling Properties:
You can sell a property back to the bank at anytime and receive the full property value price. You can also sell a property to another player for any amount that you specify. When selling a property for a price different than the current property value price, the property value price is changed to the new selling price. This allows a property to become worth more (or less) as it changes owners.

Lookups:
You can lookup a property by typing its zip code or city and state into the Property field on the Lookup page. You can also see a list of properties owned by any player by typing their username into the Owner field on the Lookup page. (Example: Type in the username "ProxyProdigy" without the quotes into the Owner field on the Lookup page)

Options:
Save your Androidopoly username and password into your Android phone so that you don't have to re-type them everytime you want to login.

Maps:
You can view your properties by clicking on a property in your home page window and then clicking the Visit button. You can see the property details (Owner name, city, & state) by zooming in on a property.
